Fee Relief Information for Families

Child Care Benefits - CCB
CCB is a payment from the Australian Government that assists you with the cost of child care. You can request that your fees are reduced or claim the payments as a lump sum. CCB is means tested based on your income. To be eligable for CCB payments you need to meet these three requirments:
1) Be an Australian citizen/permanant resident living in Australia.
2) Meet Governemnt immunisation requirments.
3) Be responsible for child care fees.
Child Care Tax Rebate - CCTR
CCTR is a 50% reimbursement of your out of pocket child care expenses distributed quarterly or annually as a lump sum payment, which allows you to claim up to $7,500 each year for each child in approved care (extend is an approved provider). If you link for CCB via the Family Assist Office (FAO) by calling 136 150 then you can also receive this payment regardless of income provided you meet the following criteria:
1) Your children attend approved child care.
2) You are an Australian resident or holder of a qualifying Visa.
3) You are responsible for payment of child care fees.
4) You are either working, training or studying.
What is your Next step?
1) Contact the FAO on 136 150 and request to be linked for CCB (this is your first step in getting your fee relief).
2) Quote the provider/Customer Reference Number for the OSHC service (you should find this number on our brochures alternativley phone Extend on
1300 366 437 to check what yours is).
3) Then leave the rest to us! (the FAO will pass your information on to us which enables us to pass on reduced fees to you).
