About Extend

Our business was originally established in 1987 as Community Education with Methodist Ladies' College. Later it became MLC Extend. Then in September 2002, operations were transferred to a new independent business structure called Extend (Australia) Pty Ltd.

Extend is an Approved and Registered Child Care Provider, Outside School Hours Care Service (OSHC) and provides a range of specialist programs including:

• extend adventures
• extend sports
• extend activities
• extend events
• extend study schools
• extend education
• extend international homestays and study tours

Extend Philosophy

We aim to offer young people (middle childhood) a unique opportunity to participate in a new adventure in a safe environment, which will form part of their life long experience. We aim to nurture their chosen interests and allow them to flourish. Extend recognises the importance of play for primary school aged children.

Extend Staff

Each staff member has been specifically chosen for their qualifications, ability, and dedication to childcare and education. Our sport coaches have a minimum Accredited Coaching Level. Our activity specialists have specific qualifications unique to their field, eg Art teachers usually have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and relevant teaching experience. Each area has a trained first aid employee available.
