Program Outline

Extend delivers comprehensive International Study Tours and Homestay programs for groups coming to Melbourne, Australia. Students come from all over the world to visit Melbourne and learn English and there is the opportunity to experience Australian culture while living with an Australian family. Programs can be from one week to one month or longer by arrangement.

Extend Study Tours and Homestays incorporate English Language classes held at Melbourne schools including Methodist Ladies' College (MLC) - The Australian School of the Year 2002! Programs include an extensive range of excursions and activities designed to supplement learning in a stimulating and fun environment.

The Study Tour and Homestay program fosters international friendships and provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their English language skills in a family and school setting. Students also experience the Australian way of life including visiting markets, tourist sights, excursions to places of special interest and many Australian activities such as the family barbeque, cafes, shopping, playing sport and family outings.

Tailored programs

All International Study Tours and Homestay Programs can be tailored to meet the needs of the visiting group. This may include the amount of English Language tuition or the type of activities which are included. The length of each Study Tour or Homestay can also be organised to meet specific schedules or join with other tours and programs.
