Extend Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Programs

Extend has been delivering school based programs for over 20 years. As a specialist organisation we carefully tailor all activities and services to meet the needs of children and families. We are sensitive to the many demands and challenges facing families and the need for high quality and professionally delivered programs. Our activities and programs are safety focused, SunSmart, creative and rewarding for all children. They also represent excellent value for money.

Extend manages Out of School Hours Care programs in locations across Victoria. Within each program, Extend offers a range of planned and structured activities. The emphasis is on child safety and care combined with fun, stimulating and educational activities delivered by well-qualified and experienced staff.

Before and After School Care times vary according to the specific needs of the School. Curriculum Days are delivered 8.00am - 6.00pm. Child Care Benefits (CCB) and the Child Care Tax Rebate (CCTR) applies for families which link their children to the program through contacting the Family Assist Office on 136 150.

Activities are based on the school site and include some of the following exciting choices: art, athletics, ball games, basketball, bath bombs, beading, bubbles, card making, chemistry, collage, construction, cooking, cricket, dance, decoupage, drama, finger puppets, flight, football, gift box making, golf, indoor sports, insects, jewellery making, mask making, matchstick craft, minor games, mosaics, obstacle course, race cars, rounders, soccer, stickers, teddies, water colours, water science and much more. New activities will be added by request.

OSHC is not just for children whose parents are unable to collect them when school finishes. OSHC is for any child who wants to join in the fun activities and experience new adventures. Extend OSHC is a great place to enjoy an activity, learn something new and spend fun time with friends. All children are provided with nutritious snacks. Parents are also welcome to join in the fun at Extend. Call in at any time to collect your child or spend time in the program with them.

Register Now

Registration forms and enrolment details are now available from Extend and the school office. All enrolments are taken through the Extend office by phone and email and all families will be eligible to receive Family Services Child Care Rebates if their child is linked to the program.

Children must be registered in advance before participating in any out of school hours activity with Extend.
A registration fee of $20.00 per family applies.

Our staff

Each staff member has been specifically chosen for their qualifications, ability, and dedication to childcare and education. All Extend staff are fully vetted and police checked to ensure the highest standards of child safety and security.
